Brief information about the club

Tarayana club of the college was formally started with the visit of Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the Founder and the President of the Foundation on 29^th April in 2006. Since then the club has initiated good number of activities, basically fund raising and of course services to beneficiaries of the club.

The number of the student teachers joining the club was quite encouraging. The club started off with 60 members in the initial phase.

This year too the club attracted maximum (58) number of student teachers into its membership. Interestingly our club has good mixture of student teachers of all the levels.

On 10^th of March, the club members formally gathered for the review of hitherto club activities. Club Secretary welcomed the new members and reminded members of the club’s and foundation’s motto ‘the service from the heart’ and the responsibilities ahead.

To ensure the effective functioning of the club, the responsibilities were shared among the members on voluntary basis.

To mark the bright beginning of the club, members did a campus cleaning.
